In addition to building and preserving safe, quality, and affordable homes, GDM Habitat advocates for funding, policy, and systems change.

Help Habitat BUILD LOUDER!

Advocates show up. They support the causes in which they believe, and work to influence community leaders to adopt policies and transform systems. Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity engages in affordable housing advocacy to ensure our leaders make informed decisions, facilitate connections between legislators and constituents, and empower homeowners and volunteers to make their voices heard. Greater Des Moines Habitat cannot do this alone; we ask for, and welcome, your voice.
